Matetsi River Lodge accommodations comprise two separate camps facing the river. Set within the original campsite footprints, and fashioned from materials both reused and locally sourced, each including eight spacious air-conditioned suites and one family suite. Among the luxurious touches are indoor and outdoor rain showers, private plunge pools, large circular bathtubs, and entertainment technology from iPads to in-room Bluetooth speakers.

Ideal for families, small gatherings of friends, and business associates, Matetsi River House is an exclusive-use villa with four air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms and a floor plan ideal for entertaining. Wide verandas, a private swimming pool, indoor and outdoor lounges, a cozy fireplace, and covered and open-air dining areas provide plenty of inviting spaces to gather. In addition to a butler, Matetsi River House guests are attended by a private chef, guide and tracker. Guests also enjoy exclusive use of a private safari vehicle.

In addition to private dining, Matetsi River Lodge and River House guests enjoy open-space East and West camp bars, boma dining areas for traditional meals, and a cellar with an extensive wine list. Executive Chef Shane Ellis oversees an ever-evolving menu of fine international, vegetarian/vegan and local foods, using the freshest ingredients.
