Where Innovation Meets Heritage

Founded in 1993 by legendary hotelier George D. Schwab, ELITE Luxury
Hospitality Representation was born from a vision to transform the way luxury
hotels engage with the travel industry.

George played a pivotal role in the early expansion of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts,
opening and managing 8 of the brand’s first 11 properties—including its first U.S. hotel,
The Clift in San Francisco. He concluded his 25-year tenure with the company as Vice
President and Managing Director of one of the world’s most iconic luxury properties,
The Pierre in New York City.

After leaving Four Seasons, George spent a year developing a groundbreaking concept
for the industry: boutique sales and marketing representation for luxury hotels. In 1993,
he launched ELITE Luxury Hospitality Representation, pioneering a model that would
support independent and high-end properties in reaching the North American market.

Over the following decade, George focused on passing down his deep expertise and
passion for hospitality to his children, preparing the next generation to lead ELITE with
the same integrity, excellence, and client-first philosophy that shaped its foundation.
