Laura brings more than three decades of experience in luxury hospitality to her role as Executive Director – Supplier Relations & Social Media Manager at ELITE Luxury Hospitality Representation. Her career began in 1990 with The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., where she served as Projects Administrator within the Reservations Operations department and supported executive-level initiatives for then-President Joseph Giacoponello. Known for her reliability and precision, Laura was consistently tapped as the “closer” for projects requiring special attention or expedited turnaround—a testament to the President’s confidence in her work ethic and ability to deliver under pressure. This foundation of trust and performance early in her career laid the groundwork for her continued success in the industry.

Laura joined ELITE in 1999 at the personal invitation of founder George Schwab, marking the beginning of a decades-long partnership.. Since then, she has played a key role in the company’s evolution, contributing to ELITE’s continued growth and adaptability within the everchanging luxury travel market. Her long tenure reflects both her deep commitment to the organization and her valuable contributions to its success.

In her current role as Executive Director – Supplier Relations & Social Media Manager, Laura blends creativity with precision, managing a wide range of marketing and relationship-focused initiatives. From crafting strategic email campaigns and curating social media content to maintaining website messaging and coordinating meetings between advisors and hotel partners, Laura plays a pivotal role in keeping ELITE’s brand and partnerships thriving.

Known for her calm, collaborative nature and strong organizational instincts, Laura is often the behind-the-scenes force ensuring that each detail aligns with ELITE’s standard of excellence.

Her dedication, paired with a deep knowledge of the industry, continues to strengthen the company’s connections with top-tier advisors and world-class hotels.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Laura finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—peaceful drives to the beach with a favorite playlist, experimenting with new recipes, writing, and handcrafting jewelry and aromatherapy blends. Her Shih Tzu, J, is a constant companion. Of all the places she’s explored, Florence, Italy, holds a special place in her heart—an enduring source of inspiration that mirrors the artistry and spirit she brings to her work everyday.
